Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. By using it, you confirm that you are. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we’ll close it and delete its data.

Moggler Labs measures facial proportions from a photo and turns them into scores, and offers AI-generated commentary and suggestions (including the Axiom coach). The scores come from automated measurements and models. They depend heavily on the photo (angle, lighting, lens, expression, hair) and can be wrong. Attractiveness is subjective, and no score captures it fully.

The service is for entertainment and general interest only. It is not medical, dental, cosmetic, surgical, dietary or psychological advice, and it isn’t a diagnosis of anything. Don’t make decisions about surgery, treatments, medication, diet or your health based on it. Talk to a qualified professional first. AI responses, including Axiom’s, can be inaccurate or incomplete.

If using the service makes you feel worse about how you look, please take a break from it. If you’re struggling with body image, support is available in Australia from the Butterfly Foundation (1800 33 4673) and Lifeline (13 11 14).

Signed out, you can upload a photo, but scores and saved scans need a free account. If you create one, give a real email address that you control and keep your password to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think someone else has used it. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page.

Only upload photos you’re allowed to use: photos of yourself, or of another adult who has clearly agreed to be analyzed. Never upload photos of anyone under 18, and never upload someone else’s photo to rate, mock or harass them.

You keep ownership of your photos and anything else you submit. You give us a limited, non-exclusive permission to process them only as needed to run the service for you (measuring, scoring, storing your saved scans and generating AI responses), as described in the Privacy Policy. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies our service providers may keep as the Privacy Policy describes. We don’t use your photos for anything else, and we don’t sell them.

When using the service, you agree not to:

• scrape, copy or harvest the service, its results or its scoring, or use bots or scripts to access it;
• get around daily limits, access controls or security measures, or probe the service for weaknesses;
• reverse-engineer the scoring or use the service to build a competing product;
• upload anything unlawful, sexually explicit, violent or hateful, or anything that infringes someone else’s rights;
• use the service to harass, shame, stalk or identify anyone;
• interfere with the service, including by overloading it or tampering with ads;
• break any law while using it.

The service is currently free and supported by advertising, which appears inside the app. We set daily limits (for example, on scans and AI requests) to keep it running, and we may change them. Ad blockers may stop parts of the service from working. Paid features may be offered in future on terms we’ll show you before you buy.

The service, including its design, code, text, graphics, the Moggler Labs name and logo, and the way scores are calculated, belongs to us or our licensors. You may use it for your own personal use and share your own results. You may not copy, sell or republish the service or its content otherwise without our written permission.

We’re a small team and may change, pause or stop the service, or any part of it, at any time. We don’t promise it will always be available or error-free. We’ll try to give reasonable notice before shutting it down entirely, so you can delete your data.

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other people at risk or exposes us to legal risk. Where it’s reasonable, we’ll tell you why first.

Our services come with guarantees that can’t be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that can’t lawfully be excluded.

To the extent the law allows, and apart from your rights described in section 9:

• the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any other promises about its accuracy, reliability or fitness for a particular purpose;
• we’re not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on scores or AI responses;
• where our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee can be limited, it is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again. Because the service is free, our total liability to you in any other case is limited to A$100.

None of this limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as liability for fraud or for personal injury caused by our negligence.

If you break these terms or the law, for example by uploading someone else’s photo without their consent, and that causes a claim against us, you’re responsible for the loss it reasonably causes us, to the extent the law allows.

We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we’ll show a notice on the site or email account holders. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, the new terms apply. If you don’t agree to them, stop using the service and delete your account.

If something goes wrong, email us at [email protected] first. We’ll try to sort it out with you in good faith within 30 days. This doesn’t stop you going to Consumer Affairs Victoria, your local consumer regulator or a court.

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria. If you live elsewhere, you still keep any consumer protections that your local law gives you and that can’t be overridden.

If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a term straight away, we haven’t given up the right to later. You can’t transfer your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours if Moggler Labs is restructured, for example into a company, or sold, and we’ll tell you if that happens. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the service.
