How Moggler Labs works
3 min read · Updated October 4, 2026
Moggler Labs turns a photo of your face into a structured report: 30 measured ratios, four pillar scores, a list of strengths and weak points, and a clear idea of what to work on. This page walks through the whole flow once, so the rest of the Help Center makes sense.
The flow in five steps
- 1
Create a free account
Scores and saved scans need a free account, so you can reopen and compare them on any device. You can upload a photo first; until you sign in it is only checked for a face in your browser. See Privacy Policy for exactly what is stored.
- 2
Upload a front photo
One straight-on photo is all it needs. Photo quality is the single biggest factor in accuracy, so read Taking the right photo before your first scan.
- 3
Landmarks are placed on your face
A landmark model finds points such as the eye corners, jawline, lips and nose tip. This runs in your browser. Every geometric measurement is calculated from these points, which is why a clear, level, well-lit photo matters so much.
- 4
Get your analysis
The ratios are compared with ideal ranges for the sex you chose and scored from 1 to 10, then grouped into four pillars (Harmony, Angularity, Dimorphism and Features) plus an overall score. Skin, definition and feature-quality scores are graded by an AI model. What each number means is explained in Understanding your scores.
- 5
Act on it, then rescan
Sort a pillar weakest-first to see what is pulling your score down. Many of the biggest levers (skin, leanness, grooming, sleep and the photo itself) are things you can change. Rescan under the same conditions and compare to see what moved.
Where to go next
If a result surprises you, start with Why your rating looks wrong. To understand what the four scores represent, read The four pillars. For a closer look at individual measurements, see Facial thirds, Facial width-to-height and Canthal tilt.
What stays on your device and what doesn't
Without an account, your photo is only checked for a face in your browser. Nothing is sent to us, and it stays in your current tab.
Once you sign in and scan, the landmark measurement still runs in your browser. The measured ratios, which are numbers rather than photos, are sent to our server to be scored. The AI-graded rows send your front photo to a third-party AI service. The scan is then saved to your account so you can reopen and compare it. The Privacy Policy explains each step, and you can delete scans or your account yourself.
Daily scans
Free accounts have a daily limit on scans, which resets on a rolling 24 hours rather than at midnight. Re-scoring a scan you already have, for example after switching the sex you analyse as, doesn't use another scan.
Reading your first report
A first report can feel like a lot of numbers. Start at the top with the overall score and tier, then look at the four pillar scores to see which is lowest. Open that pillar and the rows are sorted weakest first. Hover over a row and the photo highlights the part of your face it refers to, and for any row you don't understand, the matching Help Center page explains it.
If you'd like to practise on an example before you scan your own face, open the sample report, or read the sample report walkthrough.
Questions about how it works
Is it free?
The service is currently free and supported by advertising. Paid features may be offered later, on terms shown before you buy anything.
How long does a scan take?
Usually well under a minute from uploading the photo to seeing the report.
Can I compare scans over time?
Yes. Saved scans appear in your history, and you can put two side by side to see which rows moved. Take them under the same conditions so the comparison means something.
How do I delete my data?
Delete any scan from the history page, or delete your account, and everything in it, from the Account page.
