Dimorphism
Nose
1 min read · Updated October 4, 2026
How masculine or feminine the size and shape of the nose read.
How it's assessed
Each region below is graded for how strongly it reads as typical for the sex you select, on a 1 to 10 scale against people of the same sex, where 5 is typical. A region that reads strongly as the other sex scores lower. The full explanation is on the Dimorphism overview.
Nose
In men, a larger, straighter, stronger nose reads as masculine, and a small, upturned, button-like nose as less so. In women, a small, refined, narrow and slightly upturned nose reads as feminine, and a large, wide or strong nose as less so.
Much of nose shape is only clear from the side, so the front-view read focuses on width, bridge and the size of the nose relative to the face. Nose proportions are also measured in Harmony.
