Nose Shape Quality

1 min read · Updated October 4, 2026

Bulbous nasal tip, bloated nasal bridge and how visible the nostrils are.

How it's assessed

Each item here is checked as a visible condition and answered none, mild, moderate or severe. If it can't be seen in your photo, the answer is none, and most healthy adults show none for most items. The full explanation is on the Features overview.

Bulbous Nasal Tip

A rounded, wide or heavy nasal tip rather than a defined one. Tip shape is easiest to judge from the side and with the head slightly tilted back, so a front photo can only grade the visible width.

Bloated Nasal Bridge

A wide, puffy or flat-looking bridge compared with a defined one. Camera distance exaggerates it: a close photo makes the middle of the face and nose look larger.

Nostril Exposure

How much of the nostrils is visible from the front. A tilted-up head shows more nostril and a lowered head shows less, so hold your head level.
