Upper Eyelid Quality

1 min read · Updated October 4, 2026

Droopy eyelids and how much of the upper lid is exposed.

How it's assessed

Each item here is checked as a visible condition and answered none, mild, moderate or severe. If it can't be seen in your photo, the answer is none, and most healthy adults show none for most items. The full explanation is on the Features overview.

Droopy Eyelid

Whether the upper lid sags or hangs over the eye, partly covering the iris or the lid crease. Tiredness, a squint or a half-open eye in the photo can look like drooping, so open your eyes fully.

Upper Eyelid Exposure

How much of the upper eyelid skin is visible between the lash line and the brow. A heavy or hooded fold hides it, and a very exposed lid shows a large smooth area. Brow position changes how much lid is visible.
